We remanufactured six of the 1977 IFS hoods, each hood is serialized for its authenticity. Every hood remanufactured is of top quality and can be purchased with or without graphics. One hood is still available.
In 1977 Bombardier produced the first IFS sled for the factory racers. They supposedly asked for all the sleds back and dug a hole and buried the sleds. We were told there was one original hood floating around and we located it in Central Minnesota. The hood was in tough shape. We rented the hood and began to restore the hood enough to make a mold. Once the mold was made the restoration of the original hood began. Notice the difference from the beginning of the project to completion.
